The first day of our adventures involved seven quick stops before arriving in San Francisco. Our second stop on day 1, was Morro Bay. This little gem is a waterfront city in San Luis Obispo County, California. If you’re into quiet, sleepy towns than Morro Bay is the perfect spot for you. Well at least for a weekend in November it was (wink-wink). Offseason tends to be good timing for venturing the coast. Not sure if Morro Bay is a place that I would run back, and visit immediately seeing as I like a little more city life, restaurants, and nightlife, but the one attraction that stood out the most to me, and everyone else was the Morro Rock. You simply can not miss this massive volcanic plug. It sits at the entrance to Morro Bay Harbor. It’s a beauty!
Next Stop Ragged Point, Big Sur!
