Hole in the Fence: Capistrano Beach, Ca.

That moment you realize that time has flown by too fast.

Ever since I could remember my family, and I have taken annual staycations in the summertime to Capistrano Beach, California. This year was a little more personal. My workload has been getting heavier each year, and something tells me that Nate and I won’t be attending this annual vacation next year (not 100%), and another personal note was that we found out while visiting on this trip that the city is replacing this exact bridge. Combining these thoughts had my mind racing as I replayed all of the memories this trip holds for me. Especially this bridge. It’s funny how with age you start to cherish things more. So many memories with so many loved ones crossing this bridge. Just the thought of walking across with my grandpa who recently passed in May makes me heart heavy. I’m going to miss the morning walks along the beach to Dana Point Harbor where we would sit and have Coffee from Coffee Importers, and share California bagels, and nothing tops the beaches in Laguna. “Laguna hands down have the best beaches in Southern California.” Yes, that’s a bold statement given the fact that we’re spoiled rotten with beautiful beaches in Southern California. But this is a fact (lol).  “If you haven’t been, you must!”
I’ll list the top beaches to visit while in Laguna below this post.

I could go on and on about all of the memories my family and I have shared along the Pacific coast from Laguna to San Clemente, but it would take many many words, and I don’t want to put you to sleep. What I will do instead is make a list of my personal favorite spots while visiting Laguna, Dana Point, Capistrano Beach, and San Clemente into a blog post following this one soon. So keep an eye out. It will be under a category titled First 48.

This post is dedicated to my Mom, Dad, Brian, Uncle Marty, and Grandma.
