BLACK BLAZER h&M
Last weekend I took a little drive over to the Westside to walk around one of California’s iconic places. Originally called Venice of America, but now we just call this charming beach town “Venice”. California is known for it’s breathtaking views and beautiful beaches. I won’t argue about that. We most definitely enjoy both opinions, but one thing for sure when you stroll through this little town you will find yourself in a unique environment. Venice was founded back in the early 1900s by tobacco millionaire Abbot Kinney. Hence, the unique & inspiring area called Abbot Kinney or Abbot Kinney Blvd. If you’re an avid reader of fashion blogs, then you most likely have come across other bloggers posting lifestyle photos or creative collaborations with unique brands. If you stroll up, and down Abbot Kinney Blvd you will find yourself surrounded by great food, unique homes, and inspiring apparel & carefully crafted leather goods. “Abbot Kinney has been referred to as the coolest block in America.” So there is no doubt it should be at the top of the list for anyone planning a trip to Southern California or any locals who haven’t stumbled across this gem yet. I don’t have any additional sightseeing photos to add to this post, but I plan on visiting this area more often so I will be sure to inform you all about the unique spots to wander into for food, shopping and perfect photo ops.

The Black Blazer on the Blvd.
In this post, I’m sporting a staple piece from my closet. The black blazer is a must for every women’s closet. You can dress it up with slacks or a pencil skirt for that boss babe look. You can dress it down with jeans for a tomboyish look like I have here. Or you can pair it with a floral dress for a more feminine style. It’s truly endless. If you need help with more ideas leave a comment below, and I would be happy to style up some more ideas one on one with you.
Looks great!
TY xoxo
